We received a request from Maersk to schedule one additional trip to Balboa before phasing into the new service in March and so we proceeded to Yantian on January 31. This time we berthed on the opposite side of the terminal and I got to see my first double spreader gantries as well as 2 great MSC ships.

Visit No. 3 to Hong Kong again provided some nice shots inbound. On departure the weather shifted and some heavy rain showers decreased the visibility, however it was still enough to take a magnificent shot of the CMA CGM PURPLE as we eased past her on our way out.

South Korea was once again the setting for a great photo shoot. We encountered our sister ship the MAERSK DURHAM which was also at anchor waiting for a new service and I got some great shots of two Maersk vessels in the port itself, most notably the MAERSK SELETAR as she left the berth behind us.
