My return home after 6 months on board the Maersk Donegal marks a major change for Nautik4ever. Almost 2 months have passed since I joined the crew of the MAERSK DONEGAL in Oakland and we're finally back home in Bremerhaven! The voyage so far has been nothing short of amazing and there have been an insane amount of new ships and ports to discover. Last week marked a big change in my routine: Hamburg is no longer my primary focus, my new playground is none other than Rotterdam! I visited this awesome port for the first time last week and promptly got 115 new vessels including this little gem. The MAERSK KWANGYANG is seen here passing the Maasvlakte bound for the APM terminal. Nothing but ocean in the background and some great lighting conditions make for a great shot! So it's decided - in September I will be joining the crew of the MAERSK DONEGAL and complete my second practical term. But this time it's different. This time, I have the knowledge and the training to work as a fully qualified officer on board and really experience what I've been looking forward to for the last 2,5 years. To top it all of - the ship calls at both Miami and L.A., two of the coolest ports in the world in terms of fun in the sun! Freakin' sweet! | ||
